Tanglefire and Snowstar heaved on teh branch. Just when it seamed it would never nudge, it gave a little shutter and moved upward. They were able to throw it to the ground, and get the pressure off of Birdsongs side. "Birdsong!" She schreiched. "Can you hear me Birdsong??"

Birdsong could half hear the she-cat but could do nothing but moan. She felt so broken...

"Wake up Birdsong!" Tanglefire felt tears well in her eyes. It didn't matter what happened here. All that mattered was if Birdsong would live... or die.

Silentpaw padded out of camp. She had waited patiently for her mentor in the Apprentice den yet he had not come to fetch her. She scented the air, picking up the scent of Snowstar and Tanglefire easily. She followed it at a quick trot. She soon spotted his white fur, and considered a surprise attack. When she scented it. Blood. She rushed over and saw Birdsong slumped on the floor blood trickling from deep wounds covering her body. Silentpaw rushed over placing her ear next to Birdsongs mouth. She she-cat was alive but her breath came out in desperate wheezes and gasps. We need to move her!
