Graypaw had slept through the whole apprentice ceremony, nobody had woken him up, wanted to wake him up, and to many it wasn't all that important. Though he would've have slept through any apprentice ceremony, or ceremony in general. He would rather sleep. After all, it was the same thing over and over again. He'd see it many times over before he was dead and joined StarClan, of course unless he did something but that was another story. He, like Silentpaw had chosen a place in the back. Though not necessarily so he would be away, just so they wouldn't interrupt him in his sleep as much, like they would if he were more towards the entrance, and even though his scent gave him away, his pelt sometimes blended with the shadows. He had been dreaming when Silentpaw had come in and when she had poked her head out than came back in and sat down in her nest which was close enough for him to hit her if he rolled over and kicked out. It was exactly what he did too. His paws hit something solid, and he blinked his eyes opened, slowly. " Wh..what the?" He muttered before his eyes opened wider and he saw the she-cat. " Mouse-brain." He hissed, though not an angry one, but an irritated hiss. ooc; Lolly - Birdsong can be his mentor.

Snowstar sigh. "Well must go and find her. Tanglefire, Birdsong." He meowed dipping his head then heading to the Apprentice Den where he found Graypaw and Silentpaw. He could tell by the way Graypaw looked something had just happened between him and Silentpaw. Sighing mosty because he was upset to see the cats not welcoming Silentpaw as they should went over. "Graypaw. I hope your not being rude." He meowed looking at the apprentice.

Silentpaw glared at the stupid tom. Lazy feather-brain! What on earth was he doing. She noticed Snowstar entering and held herself back from cuffing the older tom - she'd stick nettles in his bedding later that would annoy him. She still felt annoyed at the toms action so bite her lip making tears prick at her eyes and looked at the ground sadly. Who said she couldn't sneaky?

"She woke me up from my slumber!" He hissed, glaring at Snowstar. All the clan cats, except, perhaps the kits knew he was immature and especially more irritated when he just gets up or if some cat wakes him up, accident or on purpose. "She's being the rude one." He huffed, lazily pulling himself up from his nest to sit up and glare at his leader. While some saw him as lazy, he did everything that was usually asked and had to be woken up by a new apprentice, Silentpaw. He looked towards his leader again, this time, his amber eyes more focused and not as sleepy, "I don't care or know why the others treat her weirdly." He mewed, slightly irritated, for perhaps the leader was blaming him on not being 'oh so welcoming' to the she-cat who had decided to wake him up by being to close to his own nest. He wasn't some cat that looked at the elders and the other cat's and followed what they did, plus, most of the elders were mouse-brained and even lazier than he was.

Silentkit smacked the tom over the head snarling at him.Despite the fact he was older then her she matched him in size and he fell to the ground. If anyones rude its not me! I can't help it if I wake him from his slumber anyway he should have been up ages ago! Her eyes blazed with anger as she glared at the tom she knew she'd get in trouble for her actions but it had been worth it to see the look on his face. Something told her that she and the tom weren't going to be good nest-mated but despite that she couldn't help liking the tom for hating her. Becuase he didn't just hate her because of the elders he hated her becuase she had annoyed him - even if it was his fault.

"Silentpaw. No hitting you Clan-mate." Snowstar meowed at his apprentice in a hard, strong voice. "As for you Graypaw you should have been up. I called All cats for the meeting. It would have been nice if you got off your lazy bum and came to watch Silentpaw become an Apprentice! After all you want to earn your warrior name don't you?"

Silentkit exchaned an annoyed glance with Greypaw. Despite hating the tom Snowstar was being a bit harsh. The tom had been up on Dawn Patrol then hunting this morning so in someways derserved his sleep. She looked at Snowstar with gentle eyes. I forgive him. He's not like the others don't worry.

"Hey!" He yowled, glaring at the she-cat after she had smacked him on his head with her paw. Thank goodness the other apprentice's weren't inside or he would have attacked her back. His ears flicked towards Snowstar as he and the younger she-cat and him exchanged annoyed glances.
He almost laughed at his leader, the only ambitions that Graypaw had was getting all the sleep he wanted to have. Not necessarily to be lazy but just to sleep, sleep, forget, not be tired, have your body aching. If he stayed an apprentice, it wouldn't be that bad, after all, it wasn't like Birdsong was a terrible mentor, if that was the case, he would have wanted to become a warrior quicker. "Oh well." He mewed, shrugging, his gaze calm as he looked as his mentor. "Birdsong is a great mentor, I wouldn't mind. Plus, if you remember, this isn't the only ceremony I've missed." He continued, letting a yawn out, his pink tongue uncurling out than curling back into his mouth.

"Well miss the next one and there'll be no gathering and you can clear out the Elder's den. Understand? Snowstar meowed looking at the apprentice.

Silentpaw felt bubbles of rage form inside her as the tom answered Snowstar rudley. It was annoying being told off but there was no need to be so rude. The tom yawned a stupid smirk plastered along his face and Silentpaw tried hard to make sure those bubbles didn't burst. Instead of smacking the tom again she made plans in her mind to get him back.
Birdsong shook her head at Greypaws words and motioned with her tail for him to shut his mouth while he was still ahead. It was the toms pesonality to speak like that but he needed to learn to hold his tongue once in a while - before it got him in trouble. She turned to her apprentice "Do you want to go battle-training today like I promised?" She mewed her eyes hardened for a moment a warning to the tom that he was going to get a small pep talk while they were out.

"Fine, I'll go next time." He muttered, glaring at Snowstar. He, of course didn't care if he missed the gathering, it wasn't all that fun and sometimes stupid fights broke out among either the leaders, the cats, or all of the above, but the elders were absolutely annoying. Only as a young kit did they seem kinder and not as lazy. His eyes finally turned towards his mentor who had just joined them a little before, who was also telling him to shut his mouth than asking him if he wanted to battle train with hardened eyes. "Sure." He mewed, without any emotion, he wasn't that mouse-brained to not know what was going to happen, but at least he wouldn't be with Silentpaw, she had woken him up from his nap and got him in trouble too.

Snowstar sighed. He sucked at being leader. He couldn't even make a apprentice upset! "Well Silentpaw I'll take you outside the camp. Come on." He meowed.

Silentpaw glared at Greypaw sticking her pink tongue out as she exited the den after her mentor. As she exited the camp out of the view of the other warriors she nuzzled Snowstar affectionly. Don't worry about that furball he's practically kittypet anyway. Silentpaw wondered what she's do first with her metor. She already knew the territory and its borders, she could hunt prey with ease and she had fighting down to science. Remebering her actions earlier with Greypaw and the angry look in her eye he might warn her not to act rash. Ethier way she didn't mind.
Birdsong rolled her eyes at her apprentice when Silentpaw and Snowstar had left the den. "Greypaw what were you thinking! Speaking to your leader like that.." She shook her head but couldn't help purring at the young tom "Im honoured that you think Im such great mentor and if it means anything your a great apprentice." She grinned at him. "Now come on lets go!"
