Snowstar jumped onto the Highledge and meowed:"All Cats That Are Old Enought To Hunt By Themselves, Gather Under The Highledge For A Clan Meeting!"He yowled sitting down and looking round for Silentkit. He couldn't wait for her to become an apprentice. Over the moons he had become almost like a father to her. Caring for her and of couse playing with her. She was like his kit to him, his little one.

Silentkit ears twitched as she heard Snowstar give out the call annoucing a clan meeting. It seemed everyone had guessed what was going on and they made no effort to hid there distaste. The elders grumbled and whispered nasty things about her to the other warriors who nodded in agreement. A few warriors said nothing just stared at the ground not wanting to slate or defend her. She didn't blame them defending her was like social suicide.
She quickly rewashed her pelt she wanted to look ok not like some scruffy rouge. As happy as she was to finally be an apprenticed this wasn't how she had imagined it. She'd pictured her mothers long tounge quickly rasping over her fur as she struggled to get away. Her mother would scold her but stop. Her clanmates would give happy meows and smile at her warmly as she made her way to her leader her mothers eyes filled with pride . The leader would say those magic words and she'd reply yes then she'd be Silentpaw. No Featherpaw. Thats how'd she'd pictured it not like this. Her eyes watered and she let out a tiny sob. She shook her head. I can't change what happened. This is reality not a kit-tale. Real life doesn't always have happy endings. I understand that so why do I try change things. She'd be ok she had to.

Snowstar smiled as soon as he saw Silentkit. He never had fully understood why Fallenstar had changed her name from Featherkit, but Silentkit seemed to suit her and he liked it very much.
"Silentkit. Come up here please?" He meowed to the apprentice as she hopped up.

Silentkit padded up to Snowstar her eyes shining with excitement. She ignored the hisses and groans of the elders and didn't bother listening to what the warriors whispered about her. She carefully sat down in front of Snowstar wrapping her tail around her front paws. She gazed at Snowstar and nodded respectfully despite apearing so calm inside she felt like she could burst with excitement.

Tanglefire twitched her whiskers. She has happy for the kit. she would be an appretnice, and train hard for the ways of the warriors. Before she knew it, she would be a warrior, fighting to defend her clan with her life. She smiled at Silentkit, as she saw all the excitement bubbling in her.

Snowstar gaved the Elders a glare then went on. "Silentkit. Today before you will become an apprentice of ThunderClan. One we can trust, so I'm pleased to say this.
Silentkit by the power of Starclan and as leader within me. You'll be known as Silentpaw. And your mentor will be me, Snowstar." Snowstar meowed looking at the apprentice.

Silentkit glowed with pride and got up carefully pressing her nose to her mentor. Silentpaw! She really wanted to jump up and down with excitement but knew if she did she would recieve scowls of the elders. Snowstar seemd to be waiting for the clan to call out her name but only a few cries of "Silentpaw!" came out the were quickly hushed. Silentpaw hadn't expected anything different.

Tanglestar dipped her head. She padded over to where her leader and the new appretnice were, and purred; "Congratulations, Silentpaw. You have the best mentor in all the forest as well!" |

Silentpaw looked at Tanglefire in surprise. She had never recieved praise of any other warrior except for Snowstar so it was quite nice. Looking at the warm gaze Snowstar gave Tanglefire she coldn't help but picture the two as mates. She knew the tom would deny it but deep down Silentkit was sure he had feelings for the pretty she-cat.
Birdsong called out Silentpaw's name to be silenced by the icey glares of the elders. She couldn't help but feel admiration as Snowstar hissed at them. Tanglefire went up the apprentice congratulating her and Birdsong couldn't help but notice the warm gaze Snowstar gave Tanglefire. Her fur prickled and she felt a sudden hatrid for the pretty she cat run through her. She usually liked the warrior what was going on? Was she feeling jealousy?!
~hehe I see a love triangle thing coming on~

Snowstar felt hot with embrassment. "Thanks Tanglefire." He meowed to the she-cat smiling at her warmly. His pelt white and warm. "Well then Silentpaw. We'll begin soon. First I want you to make your way over to the Apprentices den and look round. I'll be over in less than a Rabbit-hop."

Silentpaw nooded at Snowstar then trotted over to the apprentice den entering carefully to make sure she dind't break it. She scanned the den and felt prickles of joy run down her spine as she reliazed this was where she slept know. She sniffed at the bedding as she decided were to sleep she didn't want to steal anyones place. Finally she chose a spot away from the other apprentices near the back. She scraped some moss over her spot she'd fetch more later.
Birdsong padded over to Snowstar "Hi!" she said warmly trying not to give Tanglefire an icey glare. "Its great that Silentpaws finally an apprentice isn't it." She grinned nervously.

Snowstar nodded at Birdsong's words. "I'm glad you think that. By the way everyone is acting you would think they wanted to kill her or something." He meowed giving the cats a glance.

Birdsong nodded. "The elders really have something with her. They were fine until her mother died.." replied her tail swishing in the strong wind.

Birdsong could feel the anger burning in Snowstar like a fire. He really cares about Silentpaw! Birdsong looked at Snowstar with a calm gaze. "I think the rest of the clan dont want to go against the elders thats why there so cold to her." She paused choosing her next words carefully. "Maybe there nasty to her because they know something about her mothers death. They might have known the father..." She mused.
Silentpaw stuck her head out of the apprentice den she paused when she saw Birdsong talking to him. Her ears pricked when she heard her name mentioned. She decided not to interupt and instead re-entered the apprentice den and sat down waiting for Snowstar paitently.She didn't need to listen into his conversations she trusted him enough.
