Snowberry pushed his way though the camp entrance. Behind him he dragged the body of the clan's leader, Fallenstar. He had 10 rat bites over the leader's body and he wasn't breathing. All the cats in ThunderClan stopped and stared at the body of their leader. Snowberry lefted him in the center of the clearing then jumped onto the Higeledge. He took a deep breath in, sorrow and angry still layed in his heart as he let out a yowl for the clan to hear, In That yowl you could pick up the words Of "All Cats Old Enought To Hunt For Them Selves Please Gather Under The HighLedge For A Clan Meeting!" |

Shaken, Tanglefire pushed herself out into the clearing. Her paws tingled. Before her was the body of her clan leader, Fallenstar. Nasty looking rat bites covered his pelt, which was all clumped together and sticky. She shuttered when her gaze rested upon his eyes. Wide opened and glazed over. No!
Echosong, returning from a patrol, froze solid, dropping her blackbird. She was shocked, at the sight of her leader. She had never seen him like this, and never wanted to. Snowberrys snow white pelt was dingy. He looked exhausted. She walked over to the High Rock to wait for her deputies announcement. |

Snowberry watched his Clan-mates stared, their eyes open wide at what was in front of them, Their leader was no more. The thought still seemed like a lie but looking at Fallenstar you could tell it wasn't.
Snowberry took a deep breath and began, trying to sound clear and strong even though he didn't feel it.
"Cats of ThunderClan, I-I'm sorry to say this but.... Fallenstar is dead." He meowed in deep sorrow. "He died by .... some rat bites in the Old Two-leg nest... He died doing what he love doing, protecting the clan and his Clan-mates. Fallenstar would want nothing more than to die like that..."

Echosong gasped. This is terrible! Her thoughts screeched in her head. The broken body lay on the ground, but it seamed to have been looking up at his loyal deputy with gratitude, as Snowberry stood there, addressing ThunderClan, like a leader.
But Echosong still couldn't grasp the concept that Fallenstar was dead. Every time she thought of it, she felt a shiver pass down her spine like a cold claw.

Snowberry looked down at the cats he could see their worry eyes lock onto the body of their leader. I don't know If I can do this! Fallenstar always made it look so easy, jus-just to lead a clan it was like there was nothing only I can't do that!
Don't worry Snowberry..... You'll do me proud.... The voice of Fallenstar seemed to echo around him. Snowberry nodded then meowed. "I will be going to the Moonpool after the gathering. I will take the medicine cat and one warrior with me."

Tanglefire nodded. Even though Fallenstars gone, we have to put it behind us and ee moving, She thought, looking at the starry sky. Silverpelt was beginning to fall over the forest. A bright star hung shinning in the sky. Fallenstar, Tanglefire mumbled to herself. [/center] |

Snowberry looked at all the warriors below him. The cat he would take with him was going to be Tanglefire... He didn't think she was ready for deputy, yet.
"Tanglefire! You'll be coming with me to the Moonpool." He meowed looking at her.

Fireblast padded out of the medicine den and heard the announcement of Fallenstar, he was dead, if only I was there. "Snowberry I am honored to have you as leader, like you said I will come with you to the Monnpool." Fireblast knew that it would be tough for Snowberry to accept her nine lives, Fireblast was told by Fallenstar that there was sometimes emense pain invovled, Fireblast knew that the ceremony was supposed to be secret but he was medicine cat so it wasn't that bad.

"Thank you Fireblast. Now I guess I better pick the new Deputy." He meowed looking at the sun. Slowly he stood higher then meowed. "I say these words infont of Fallenstar may he hear and Approved my choice. Wildclaw will be the new Deputy."

Tanglefire yowled in approval, along with Echosong beside her. Tanglestar dipped her head. "Wildclaw will be a great deputy." She muttered.
