Spottedrose poked her head gently into the medicine store sniffing carefully for the trace of watermint. She pressed her nose right up the herb piles sniffing hard. Oh we must have ran out she mused. I better go get some for the elders bellyache. She knew that rabbit that they had shared last night had smelt wierd. She poked her head out of the entrance the leafy fronds above her head sending a dappled light over her fur. She scanned the camp for Palemoon, she needed to ask the she-cat if it was alright for her to pop out of camp to fetch some.

Palemoon sniffed a toms pad. He had trodden on a thorn when on a patrol. "Here's a poultice, it should help with pain and swelling." She gave the medicine to the tom to work into his wound, when she saw Spottedrose looking for her. "Hello, Spottedrose!" she called, padding over to greet her apprentice. "How is everything?" Palemoon guessed they had run out on a herb, but the way she smelled, Spottedrose had been digging in the herb supply.

Spottedrose turned to Palemoon dipping her head politeley. "The elders have bellyache is it alright if I go fetch some watermint?"

[Tangle]

"Sure" She replied. "Would you like me to give you company? Or were you planning on taking another warrior?" She asked.

[lollytish]

Spottedrose shuck her head. "I haven't asked anyone else yet I figured I'd go down by the stream. Watermint grows in damp places doesn't it?" she mewed.

[Tangle]

"Usually." Palemon nodded. "So would you like me to go with you or would you rather go on your own?" Palemoon didn't like the full idea of ehr apprentice going on her own. But she could live with it.

[lollytish]

"I don't mind but if you come I guess it means I could collect more!" Spottedrose gushed. She could sense Palemoon didn't like the idea of her going alone and she enjoyed her mentors company anyway. They had a special bond not just because they were clanmates but because as kits they had both been outsiders to the clan. They both understood what it was like to get hostile looks from there own clanmates to not be fully trusted, but they also knew what it was like to gain there clanmates respect and work for the clan they loved. They were both unique cats.

[Tangle]

Palemoon smiled. "Great. I would be bored in here anyway!" She exclaimed. "Lets go." she began to push her way out of the camp and into the open hills of WindClan territory. A sharp wind pinned down her whiskers and he checked the scent. "It's a wonderful day." She told her appretnice.

[lollytish]

Spottedrose closed her eyes the strong wind whipping her fur and pushing her whiskers against her face. She loved it, the wind. It was something she couldn't live without. How the other clans lived under tree's I don't know! When she wasn't needed she loved to come out here and run It felt like she was flying. She began to pad in the direction of the stream her quick pace coming naturally.

[Tangle]

Palemoon skimmed after her. "Can you sense the herbs Spottedrose?" She called a tail length away, speeding over the horizon.

[lollytish]

The trace of watermint filled her nostrils and soon clumps of it became visable. "Theres loads over here Palemoon!" The calico cat called. She trotted over to the plants carefully collecting the ones near the edge as far away from the stream as possible. She new that they were drier that way but she didn't want to go anywhere near that water. Bad expirences.

[Tangle]

"Great!" Palemoon breathed. "Lets go get some."

[lollytish]

Spottedrose turned to Palemoon. "Should we get some extra for Shadow Clan? They helped us when we ran out of Catmint last moon and I heard ________ mention that he couldn't find watermint anywhere. I could just drop some off."

[Tangle]

"Great." Palemoon meowed. "We'll have to trek across the lake though. Are you up for it?" she meowed, casting a long stare into the piny forest across the lake, squinting to see better.

[lollytish]

"Of course!" Spottedrose purred. Unlike warriors medicene cats were allowed to enter the territories of other clans. Of course they'd have to go through River Clan but they might see Goldenrose so it wasn't that bad. She picked up a load of watermint carefully carrying it under her chin she then bent down carrying some between her jaws. This move was often used to carry moss to the elders but it helped with herbs. She'd give some to the elders then take it to Shadow Clan.
